This 5 x 7 inch scratchboard piece of the Grey Nurse Shark was one of eight in a series of threatened species artworks created for the 'Slippery, Slimy, Feathered and Furred' children's book. The book is a wonderful collection of short stories by authors and artists of the Hunter Valley about some of the region's threatened species. The book was published by the Hunter Writers Centre in 2021.
 
5"x7" scratchboard panel that has been varnished with a several coats of archival quality, non-yellowing, U.V resistant, matte spray and framed under non-reflective art glass in an Australian-made, recycled black timber frame. Frame size is 28 cm x 33 cm.
