Mt Allyn, near Barrington Tops in NSW is a gorgeous part of the world with pockets of cool temperate rainforest on its slopes. This painting was done for a habitat study, where I spent a perfect day there sketching and studying everything from the lichen and mosses to the foliage of the large Antarctic Beech trees.
